By his fathers Will to have a tenement called "Palmer's" - shared with brothers George and Lawrence.

Note:
Previous to the suppression of the monastic houses he appears to have held land in Ospringe, leased from the monastery of Modynden, near Faversham (Records at the Public Record Office, Chancery Orders and Decrees, Michaelumas A 38 Hen. VIII, B so 207 - Greenstreet v Agar.) In A 3 Edward VI he purchased the Manor of Plumford from Thomas Colepeper, who had bought it of Anthony Aucher, to whom the king granted it two years previously (see Harleian Charters, 76 I,1). And in A 8 Elizabeth he acquired the adjoining Manor of Paynter's from Sir Thomas Cheyney, to whose father, Sir Henry Cheyney, Henry VIII granted it upon the dissolution of monasteries. Furthermore, in A 10 Elizabeth, he bought from Thomas Wood, of Ospringe, the Manor of Lorinden alias Cade's in that parish.

Peter Greenstreet was of Plumford and Paynter's in Ospringe, and by reason of the match with a co-heiress of Eston, he quartered his mother's arms (Eston, of Kent--Or, three covered cups gules; in fess point a cross patee sable, for difference) with his own (Barry of eight argent and azure, on a canton of the second a martlet or)--see Harleian MSS., N 5862, pencil folio 59.
