Notes:
The William Stokes family identify Mary Ann as "Mary Ann Newry Stock". Newry has reference to the young man that caused Jane Adams to be pregnant. In the family the name "Dewey" has also been circulated. The "Hyrum Smith Rich Family" organization printed "Our Stock Family from Kent England" in 1980 which was writen by Frank Smith F.S.G, A.G and "E" Merrill Gomm, M.A. and identified the young man as "William Newey". I have chosen to use the name of "William Newey" as the father of Mary Ann Stock (the name that appears on most family group sheets.
