    1. William owned the "Hygenic Ice Company", and prized Percheron horses to pull his wagons.  He owned a lake which used to be at the foot of Fountain Street coming out of Woodbridge across from Ramsdell St..  There was also two large ice barns there. He sold the land to the city of New Haven and the barns were sold to 1)Marjorie Shaw and 2)Mr. Stoddard, the Father of Russ Stoddard, who Geraldine worked for when he was First Selectman of Woodbridge.
