                   Ethel Lewis Crosby, 73, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died 6May 1991 at the North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell WY following a lengthyillness.
       She was born in Cowley WY on 26 Oct 1917 to Claude A and CharlotteMarchant Lewis.  On 30 Jul 1940 she married Rodney Welch Crosby inCowley.  Mrs Crosby was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ ofLatter-Day Saints.  She served as the ward dance director with herhusband, a a Primary teacher, and as a piano accompanist for many youthsoloists.  She loved working with the young people in their capacities.She served as president of the Lovell WY Woman's Club, chairman of theLovell WY Rose Queen Pageant, and also served in numerous volunteerorganizations.  She was a member of the Wyoming Cow Belles, the WyomingWoolgrowers Association, and a patron of the Buffalo Bill HistoricalCenter.
       She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandchild; and threebrothers and sisters.
       Survivors include her husband, Rodney W; one son, Rodney Lewis andwife Josephine all of Cowley; and five daughters: Sherrill Louise (MrsStan) Brow of El Cajon CA, Carolyn (Mrs Robert) Titmus of Point Noire,Africa; Bobbie (Mrs Floyd) Legerski of Sheridan WY; Carrie (Mrs Larry)Grihalva of Englewood CO; and Claudia (Mrs Jody) Sloan of Whittier CA; 14grandchildren; one brother, Croft M Lewis of Cowley; and one sister, IlaL Hopkin of Worland WY.
       Funeral services will be Friday 10 May 1991 at 2 pm in the CowleyLDS Chapel with Bishop Bill Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow inthe Cowley Cemetery.  Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell WY is in charge ofarrangements.
