Name: Kincaid/Kinkead Born in the Cean Ceade (Kincaid) Castle near Campsie Glen in Stirlingshire, Scotland, the second living son of James, Laird of the Cean Ceade (Kincaid) Clan. David was forced to leave Scotland after his participationin the Jacobite Rebellion in 1715. He and his son, David, Jr., settled first in Spotsylvania County, PA, and later in Virginia. He was a member of Tinkling Springs (VA) Presbyterian Congregation from 1743 to about 1770.
He married Winnifred Hobson . Winnifred Hobson was born at of Albemarle, Virginia Abt 1688 .
