Nor was it found in Simeon's pension file, but he said he was "almost 65 years old" in his declaration dated 8 April 1818 at GreenfielDThis would suggest he was born in 1753, not 1752. On 10 July 1820 he gave his age as 67, which also suggests 1753. His age at death in Deerfield records was 80, which calculates to 1852 but could be rounded ofFHowever, his brother Richard was born in November 1753, so 1752 is a more reasonable birth year for Simeon.
