On the christening records of daughter, Sara, she is listed as "Nencie Eszemie."("A History of Johann Jost Snyder and Anna Magdalena Elizabetha Flagler..." p. 78) Note: "Lady" Sarah Ismay, who married John Todd, is probably not the sister of Ann "Nancy" Ismay. Sarah is consistently listed as the daughter of Lord Robert Ismay and Lady Margaret, indicating a more immediate connection to England or Ireland. Sarah's birthplace is most often listed as Ireland Name: At her christening her parents were listed as "Jacob Sneyder & Nencie Eszemie."
