OF KATHY BROWN BIRTH DATE FROM RECORD OF births in Gutenberg, Wurtenberg, Germany extracted by Donna Murphy 1995 ( I hold all evidence that Donna got as suspect since she found no connection to connect them to Germany, but skipped that generation- she also has had a serious head injury since she began the research) 1910 MICH. Ontanagon County Census(film # 1374680): Frank and Selina were both naturalized by this time, had immigrated to US FRank in 1874 and Salina (sp) in 1875. It stated that Frank was a farmer and was able to read and write. Clara was a teacher in public school Frank (,age 57), Salina (age 49), Frank, Jr. (age 24-born in Wisconsin), Henry (age 22- born in Wisc.), Clara (age 19- born in Mich), Isabel (age 13- born in Mich), George (age 9- born in Mich) This census (1910) stated that both Frank and Salina were born in Germany _wrong. Also, Barbara Salzman was not living with them at this time. Both his death certificate and obituary give his date of birth as Jan 19, 1853. The obituary states that he was born in Wurtemburg, Germany and came to America when 18 years old. Somewhere the information we had was given as birth date of September 19, 1853- obviously that is put in question with these two evidences.
