Notes:

                   It is not clear weather James Morgan's parentage lies through Cecily  Herbert or through an unknown first wife(mistress) of Sir Thomas Morgan.  However, Morgan is his father.

Indications are strong that James Morgan father of Evan ap James Morgan is the son of Cecily (Cecilia) Herbert:

RL Herbert has a note for James stating that James the son of Sir Thomas Morgan and Cecilia Herbert married the widow of Jenkin ap Rheinallt (Monmouthshire History, Vol 4, Part 2 - pg 214 (FHL Folio 942.43 H2b).  There are several geneological indexes that have James son of Thomas Morgan married to Mary Jenkin (Jenkyn)
