Notes:
                   John W was born in Pennsylvania in 1851*. He moved west to Wisconsin
with his parents in the spring of 1857.
*Grave Stne in Bellwood Cemetary has birth at 1849. His death notice
was in the "Sherburne County Star News" Elk River, Minnesota - dated 18
March 1920.
	John W. Bell's land acquistions in Sherbourne Co., Minnesota sections 12
and 13 of Township 34 North of Range 27 west of the Fourth Principal
Meridian in Minnesota. Total 200 acres,
	Sherbourne County Court House, Elk River, Minnesota, office of Deed
Records. Trustees Deed #1788 filed for record 9 May 1885 recorded in
Book L of Deeds, on pages 86 & 87, consisting of 40 acres.
	Homestaded 1891, #6450, filed for record 9 August 1894, recorded in
Book R of Deeds on page 245, consisting of 160 acres.
	On 9 August 1894, turned over land to Pricella Gearhardt, then she
transfered property back to Rosella Bell (the same day). On November
1898, John W. and Rosella Bell deeded land (2 acres) to Bellwood
Cemetary Association.
	The property shown as owned by Rosella Bell and John Bell, husband,
was transferred to John H. Bell (son) on 4 November 1903. On 5 April
1905, 80 acres of John H. Bell's property was foreclosed by the Sheriff.
What became of the remaining 120 acres is unknown, as no records were
found concerning that property.
