Dotson, Thursa Mae of Whorton Creek d 12 Jan 1928 Whorton Creek, Mad, Ark; wid/o of 1) Joseph Inman, a Confederate Soldier who was not killed by bushwackers. He died early 1866 of pneumonia from swimming a river on way home. It is not known whether he was wounded & sent home or the war was over. She died Nov 16 1945 in Ramona OK at the age of 76 years, 3 months, 4 days. She was united in marriage to J W McCollough Feb 12 1896. To this union was born 4 souns and 4 daughters. About 1905 they moved to Talahina OK where he passed away. Dec 7 1912 she married J W Crouch in Fayetteville, Washington Co AR. There were 3 sons and 3 daughters to this union. She became a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Sep 1933 at Oglesby OK. Her interest in her family and friends was genuine and sincere throughout her life. She loved the Lord and often talked of His love and goodness. She is preceeded in death by her first husband J W McCollough, a daugher Bonnie McCoullough age 11, and an infant son Joel Ceil Crouch. married Jossie Ann Newberry on 4-16-1905 obiturary: Services for Albert J Dotson, 83, of 815 E Emporia St, Ontario CA. will be conducted at 10:30 am tomorrow at the mortuary chapel, 811 N Mountain Ave. He died Tuesday at Ontario Community Hospital. A native of Arkansas, he came to Ontario 19 years ago. Prior to retiring, he was employed by Kaiser Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow, Jossie Ann; four daughters - Mrs Ralph Joy, Mrs Beurel Carter and Mrs Grady Stansell, all of Ontario, and Mrs Steve Montgomer, Huntsville AR; three sons - Charley Dotson of Huntsville AR, Everett of Guymon OK, and Clifford of Upland; one sister - Mrs Minnie Brown of Huntsville AR; and one brother - Oliver Dotson, Ontario 24 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Mr Dotson and his wife Jossie were married Apr 16 1905. Burial will be at Bellve Cemetery.

Married Nellie Carrie Bolinger, sister to Dora Bolinger on 2-7-1912. Oliver and Carrie were both born near Huntsville AR and were married at Talihina, Oklahoma. The family then moved to Lasamburs Colorado for a while, then traveled with wagon and team to Steamboat Springs Colorado. After living there a while, they moved to Denver Colorado. They then moved to Encampment Wyomng; then back to AR where they bought a farm. In 1926 they went to LaSal Utah and the last child was born and died there. They then returned to Arkansas until they moved to Ontario California in 1937, bying a house in Dec 1941.
