Estate: He was granted a deed of property in Northumberland County in 1711 by Edward Saunders.WILL: His will reads: "In the name of God Amen February the Twentieth 1726, I Alexander Love of Northumberland County being sick and weak in body but perfect in mind and memory thanks be to God for it I do make and Ordain this my Last will and testament in form and manner following that is to say first I resign my soul to the hands of God who gave it hoping for mercy through the morrills (sic) of my Blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and as for my worldly Goods after my body decently buried and my debts payd (sic) I give in form and manner as followeth: Item; I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth one feather bed and furniture, one great table, one cow and calf, one boar and sow and piggs (sic), one ewe and lamb, one great iron pot and six puter (sic) plates. Item; I give and bequeath to my son Amos all my land and that I am possest (sic) with to him and his heirs lawfully begotten of his own body and in case my my son Amos should die without lawfull (sic) issue then the said land shall be my son William's and his heirs lawfully begotten of his own body and for the rest of my estate my will and desire is that my beloved wife shall peaceably enjoy and possess during her widowhood and after to be equally divided between my two sons and four youngest daughters and also my will and desire is that my estate shall not be appraised and lastly I do institute and ordain and appoint John Champion with my beloved wife to be my exid.
