His family immigrated to America when he was about 17 years old. He was ordained an elder by James H. Heart on 13 Aug 1893, a priest by William A. Hymas and a high priest on 7 Aug 1910 by Hoseph R. Shepherd.
Edwin was blessed by Jas. F. Bunn on 3 Dec 1899.
Vernice Parker was blessed by Edward Sutton on 16 Jun 1903.
Uncle John was ordained an elder by Roy A. Welker on 30 June 1923 and a high priest on 12 Sep 1937 by Chas. A. Callis on 12 Sep 1937. His membership records were received back from the Sugar House ward on 15 Feb. 1931 and again on 29 Mar 1936. He was blessed by William L. Rich on 10 March 1902.

He had surgery in Dec. 1960 and had most of his colon, stomach, intestines, etc. removed by Dr. Reichmann. Dad was ordained a deacon by Henry Parker, his father, on 7 Jan 1923. He was ordained a teacher by " " " " on 9 Jan 1927. He was ordained a priest by " " " " on 5 Feb 1928. He was ordained an elder by Joseph W. Parker, a cousin, on 18 Oct 1931. Dad served a mission to New Zealand starting on 3 Apr 1936 and returning on 26 June 1938. Dad was blessed by his father, Henry Parker.
