Dad had several heart attacks and massive colon cancer. He had surgery in Dec. 1960 and had most of his colon, stomach, intestines, etc. removed by Dr. Reichmann.
Dad was ordained a deacon by Henry Parker, his father, on 7 Jan 1923.
He was ordained a teacher by " " " " on 9 Jan 1927.
He was ordained a priest by " " " " on 5 Feb 1928.
He was ordained an elder by Joseph W. Parker, a cousin, on 18 Oct 1931.
Dad served a mission to New Zealand starting on 3 Apr 1936 and returning on 26 June 1938.
Dad was blessed by his father, Henry Parker.
