John G. HARSCH
OCCUPATION: Foundryman
On MAY 5, 2001 I brought home a woolen quilt made by Anna Hanson Harsh for my daughter Elizabeth. My parents had it in storage so it smells like moth balls. It is 7 feet by 5 feet made in a pattern that goes up and down in5 inch pyramids. The primary color is purple (2 shades) there is also grren yellow and tan. My father used to live with his Grandparents after high school and before the War. In some ways I've felt he had closer relationship with his mother's grandfather than he did with his own father. Beth was REALLY EXCITED to have this had made quilt from her GREAT-GREAT-GREAT GRANDMOTHER. I assume it was made about 1900. Charles Irish OCCUPATION: Homemeker
