    4. A member of family present at Appomatox Court House, VA when Lee surrendered. (Either PL Ward or Brother)
    5. At Alamo, San Antonio, Tex there is a plaque listing John Ward of Ireland (supposedly some relation) but this is really doubtful, yet Pappa Ward Firmly believed this to be true, so we included it here.
    6. Ward Family farm still in Family and is owned by James Ward today. James was the 4th son. Farm is in Lott, Falls County, TX."
