NOTE: Anglois is old French for Anglais (English). Langlois and Langlais are surnames meaning "the English man". Both Langlois and Mauger(Maugier) are Channel Island and Norman names. They are also names of emigrants out of Larochelle where several of the Langlais and Maugiers may have been protestants. So Langlois seems to have re-arrived across the short sea a number of times.
