                   He was baptized at Dunkle's Reformed Congregation, sponsored by JohanJacob Lenhart according to transcribed records of Wm. J. Hinkle in 1929.He was taxed in Greenwich Twp. in 1784 and 1785 and resided there in1790.  He moved to Somerset County, Pennsylvania, and in 1793 had 76acres, 100 perches located on the heads of the north branch of QuemahoneCreek, part in Quemahoning Twp. and part in Milford Township adjoiningAbraham Whipkey.  He received a mortgage on 100 acres in Milford Twp.from John Whipkey on April 10, 1794.  He was taxed in Milford Twp. in1796 with 283 acres of which 40 were cleared.  He resided in MilfordTownship in 1800 and 1810 then in Somerset Twp in 1820 and 1830.  At hisdeath, letters of administration were granted to Jacob Lenhart and LudwigYoung on October 31, 1835.  in 1850, Christina, his second wife,  wasshown residing with Ludwig and Elizabeth Young.

                   SOURCE: Eber Cockley's letter quotes MILLER HISTORY AND LENHART HISTORYagree JOHN PETER LENHART wife ELIZABETH MILLER (of Joseph Miller) haddaughter ELIZABETH LENHART.  At page 41 in MILLER HISTORY she is soidentified;  nothing said that she NEVER married.  The compilers of theMILLER HISTORY at page 80 Chapter IX ELIZABETH MILLER-PETER LENHARTBRANCH, state: "Elizabeth Miller, daughter of Yost (Joseph) Miller,married Peter Lenhart.  This Lenhart family lived in the vicinity ofEdie.  They lived on a farm in that vicinity from 1810 to 1825.  Aftersome financial losses they moved to Ohio, but we have not been able tolearn at the time of this writing of any of their present descendants.We have authentic information that to this marriage there was a daughter,Eve, intermarried with Jonathan Friedline; a son Samuel, who was blindand not married; a son George; a daughter Sarah, married Grady, and thisGrady family left no issue.  A daughter Marie, married Philip Zimmerman.All trace of this family has been lost.  Effort has been made to locatesome of the descendants, but without success."  NOTE: Earlier at page 41the name of daughter ELIZABETH is listed with no other information abouther.  In that list of children, Eve was omitted.  Note in this list ofChildren, Eve is included and Elizabeth omitted.  At page 41 a son Peteris named, while in this list at page 80 he was also omitted.
