Mrs. Dorcas Ursula Slayman died at 7:30 o'clock this morning at the home
of her son, Guy Slayman, Maugansville Road.  She was the widow of A.
Lincoln Slayman of near Clearspring, and was 70 years of age.
Surviving are children: Mrs. Clinton Trumpower, Clearspring; Mrs. C.M.
Austin, this city; Mrs. David Trumpower, Mrs. James Kerns and Mrs. David
Kershner, all of Clearspring; W. Gale Slayman, Indian Springs; Perry,
Clarence, Guy and Wilbur, all of this city; brothers, Harry and William
Dicken, Flintstone, Md.; Lon Dickin, Cumberland; Elwood Dicken,
Westchester, Pa.; Dolph Dicken, St. Paul's; sisters, Mrs. Clay Fetters,
Flintstone; Mrs. Adeline Robinson, Mrs. Ella Busey and Mrs. John Leasure,
all of Cumberland.
She was a member of the United Brethren church.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, leaving the home of her
son Guy Slayman at 3 o'clock followed by services at St. Paul's church on
the Western Pike at 3:30 o'clock with Rev J. Wade Huffman officiating.
Burial in cemetery adjoining.

Ridge, near Hancock, aged 77 years. Surviving are wife, Lizzie Dicken;
sisters, Mrs. Adeline Robinson, Cumberland and Mrs. Alice Peters,
Flinestone; and brothers; Elwood Dicken, West Chester, Pa., Alonzo,
Cumberland and Harry and William, Flintstone. The body was removed to the
Snyder-Rowland funeral home in Hancock where services will be held
Saturday morning at 10:30, by the Rev. J. Melvin Griffin. Interment in
Presbyterian cemetery at Warfordsburg, Pa.
