Page 1 of 1 HAL CARMA FERGUSON From: To: Sent: Subject: "Margaret Gonzalez"Saturday, April 13, 2002 1 :25 AM [LENHART] David Lenhart/Sarah Shoup Lenhart For those interested, Ijust stumbled onto the burial place and thus death information for the above-mentioned couple. They are both in the Hudson Cemetery, Hudson Twp, LaPorte, Indiana. David's just says "Died in his 50th Year". I have his birth year as 1804 which would translate to "about 1854". I have Sarah's birth as 1805 and the double headstone says her death was March 10, 1877, aged 71 years, 10 months. I know that their son William came to Texas, but didn't find any further death or burial information on their other children. However, for Jacob, I've had only the name "Mary" for his spouse and I now have their marriage record with the name "Mary Cramwell" and the marriage date is February 9, 1854, LaPorte County, Indiana. . 5/12/2002
Not confirmed YET as son of David. Walnut Creek Sesquicentinial Book says that Peter was a Justice ofthe Peace in Walnut Creek Twp., commissioned in 1858, 1861, 1867; alsonoted he was a Notary Public. Since Peter died suddenly at an early age, his children were "farmedout" to neighbors who needed domestic or farm help.
