       Walnut Creek Sesquicentinial Book says that Peter was a Justice ofthe Peace in Walnut Creek Twp., commissioned in 1858, 1861, 1867; alsonoted he was a Notary Public.
       Since Peter died suddenly at an early age, his children were "farmedout"  to neighbors who needed domestic or farm help.
