                   The 1850 Census for Dover Township, York County, PA., list John Lanehart,36, Farmer, 2/7000, Pa.  Also listed is Rebecca, 25; Edwin, 6; Sarah,[fraction]; also listed is Sarah Bollinger, 20; John {Eberly?], 16;Catherine [Eberly], 19.  All were born in PA and living in Dwelling 297.

The 1860 Census for Dover Township, York County, Pennsylvania, lists JohnLenhart, age 46, occupation farmer and had property assets of $12,894 andpersonal assets of $1,342.  Residing in his household were RebeccaLenhart, age 35; Edwin Lenhart, age 14; Sarah Lenhart, age 10; CharlesLenhart, age 8; and Oliver, age 3.

       Nov. Term 1842 #31- Mary Stough by her next friend William Lenhartvs.  Englehart Stough.  On Sept. 13 1842, her liable  in  divorce  waspresented  to  the court and subpoena was  issued.   It  was  returned"N.E.I. so answers J. Hantz, Shff."  On Nov. 10, 1842 on  the  motion  ofD.B.Branitz, Esq., Mary  Stough's  attorney,  the  court  awarded analias subpoena continued to Jan term 1843  #10.   Costs were$.18 3/4  tothe sheriff.
       In January, Mary Lenhart Stough obtained her divorce fromEnglehart.  There was testimony, but it wasn't included in this book.This was the only Lenhart in the book index.  There were two otherStough's  The initials N.E.I. are in Latin and mean "He was not found".The "next friend" was often the lady's father. Total cost for the divorcewas $10.77 1/2  The lawyer go the most, $3.00.  The proclamation
was  $5.25. Advertisement $1.00(in the newspaper?).  The  sheriff  got 361/2 cents.
