Born in Washington County, he was the son of the late James Oliver and Nellie Trumpower Faith. His wife, Margaret I. Faith, died in 1973. He was a member of Blairs Valley Church of God. He is survived by two daughters, Betty Shank and Joyce Crouse, both of Hagerstown; four sons, Frederick J. Faith of Smithsburg, Donald E. Faith, Gary V. Faith, both of Hagerstown, and Howard M. Faith of Clear Spring; four sisters, Catherine Jones and Rita Clark, both of Clear Spring, Mildred Faith of Fort Loudon, Pa., and Charlotte Ingram of Greencastle, Pa.; two brothers, Glenn Faith of Clear Spring and Earl Faith of Hagerstown; 23 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev. Ernest Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Little Rose Hill Cemetery in Clear Spring. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9. Clark of Halfway; five sons, Frederick of Smithsburg, Donald and Gary, both of Hagerstown, and Jack and Howard Faith, both of Clear Spring; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Shifflett and Mrs. Jane Stratiff, Both of Williamsport; two brothers, Howard Murray of Baltimore and William Murray of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; and 22 grandchildren and three great-grantgrandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Clear Spring. The Rev. Robert Easterday will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Clear Spring.
