       Guy Woodlief Sr. attended the University of Richmond Law School and passed the bar in Virginia and Pennsylvania. He owned a men's clothing store in
Henderson until 1945. Mabelle Woodlief graduated from Westchester Normal, Wake Forest College in 1950 and taught elementary school until the day before she died. They raised their family at 217 Chestnut Street in Henderson. Both are buried at Union Chapel between Kittrell & Henderson.
