Daniel Longaker YODER

       Hill, N. N., Jr., History of Knox Co., Its Past & Present; Mt. Vernon, 1881.  P. 430 states that the Jelloway English Lutheran Church was organized Feb.20, 1881.  Mrs. Mary E. Myers was one of the charter members.  Book found in Akron, Ohio, Public Library.

Emma Lind Myers copied the following:
       "The following is a list of the names of the ancestors of Mary E. Myers as near as the undersigned can remember.  Her father's name was Daniel Yoder; her mother's was Sarah, her maiden name Clark.  Her grandfather's name was William Yoder; her grandmother's name was Mary, her maiden name Longacer.  Her  great grandfather's name was Daniel Longacer, her great grandmother's name was Eve, her maiden name ___________.  Her grandfather's name on her mother's side was John Clark; her grandmother's name Elizabeth, her maiden name Burtnett.  Her great grandfather's name was Michael Clark; her great grandmother's name was Priscilla, her maiden name Dalby.  Her great great grandfather's name was Samuel Clark; he came from Ireland before the Revolutionary War.  The above is correct to the best of my knowledge.         (Signed)   Daniel Clark"
