       Norman and Mary were married May 13, 1950 at Zion Lutheran Parsonage in Lykens, Pennsylvania by Rev. Hiram W-Tro (reference #T-6-176).  Norman and Mary lived in Berrysburg.  Norman was in WW II and was wounded and received a purple heart.  He had a chunk out of upper back and buttock, shrapnel from a grenade.  He was also overseas in Hawaii.  Norman was in WWII from 1941 to 1945.  He had been overseas when in the army, Hawaii was one of the locations I was told about.  Norman was in the Kepler Home.
