                   From the obit:  In 1899 Robert moved with his wife and two oldest daughters, Ida and Melva to this city where they have resided since. At the time of his departure he was 48 years, 7 months and 3 days old. Since April he was confined tohis home with consumption (Consumption is an old name for Tuberculosis (TB) that describes how the illness wastes away or consumes its victims.) and during the last month was confined to his bed. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the family residence, Rev. Wisher preaching the sermon. The remains were interred in the Township cemetery. The family wish to extend their heartfelt thanksto those who so kindly assisted in their hour of sorrow.
