                   Jacob Miller lived in Milford Twp., Somerset County,PA.
He died intestate in 1815.  His land, about 210 acres, was sold at auction on 2 August 1816 and valued at $10.00 per acre.  This is recorded at'the Somerset County Courthouse in Deed Book 8, page 45.
Among his possessions were; a bible to George Miller, a prayer book to John Hart, 9 hogs, 20 head of sheep, '6 horses, 2 colts, 2 cows, 3 beehives, ducks, cotton, chest­ nuts, onions, hay, flax, wheat, rye, corn, oats, tomatoes, turnips, potatoes, sauerkraut, churn, grindstone, shoemaker tools, blacksmith tools, wagons, clock, rifle, and various other farming and household tools.

Ludwick died on 2O March 1845 in'Sa1tlick Twp., Fayette,County, Pa., and is buried in the Lutheran Cemetery at Indian Head, Pa.
His sons, Jacob H. and Frederick, were administrators of his estate as recorded in the Fayette County Courthouse in Orphans Court Book 4, page 388.
	Cain Christner and Peter and Harriet_Christner bought Ludwick Miller's farm from the heirs for $650.00 on 1 Dec 1855.  This is recorded in Deed Book 27, page 667.
