Hugh Vernon, Ralph W.,  Franklin married second wife; Laura B. Knotts on 4 May
1904, ahs died 3 Sept. 1966.  The following children were born to Franklin and
Laura; Troy W., Howard G. and Mildred VanMeter.

    He farmed most of his life. His first wife died with leukemia, and married 15
Jul 1978 to Frances Louise Cross, a widow.  He had a son Frank G. Ferguson and
a daughter Amy Montgomery, Las Vegas, N.V.
