(2) Tombstone at Windy Gap Church (Aleppo Township, Greene County, PA)-birth and death dates.  He was a Veteran of the Confederate War; GAR "Co.D 1 W VA INF" (grave marker).
(3) Greene County, PA Death Records has "died 12-01-1910, age 84, cause:old age, infirmaties, ill 3 months, b. PA, farmer".
(4) "Burials of Aleppo Township", p. 39.
(5) 1850 Census- Upper Turkeyfoot Twp., Somerset County, PA (p. 511-66),copied from paper record in Somerset county, PA:
