Jacob Fleck, Granfather of Mary Ann and Harriet, minor children of George Whipkey, son of Abraham. Estate $1,097.76 John Wibge and Elizabeth had a son ABRAHAM born 2 Feb. 1771, baptized July 1771. Recorded in the records of Salem Reformed Church, Hagarstown, Md. Sponsor at the baptism was ABRAHAM TRAXEL. Letter from Gene B. Foss has the same information, but lists the parentsnames as: Johannes Wibge and Elisabetha. Feb. 1821 Orphans Court Petition of Mary Whipkey that Abrm Whipkey and Mary Whipkey, minor children of Abrm Whipkey under 14 have no guardian and ask the court to appoint them one. George Flick recommended for Mary and George Chorpenning for Abrm. Real estate of Abrm. late, land divided into shares. Henry Ash, intermarried with Elizabeth, eldest daughter, of said interstate in right of said Elizabeth hereby elects to take the tract of land and premises called the old Tract or mansion place containing one hundred and fifty five acres and two tracts adjoining Peter Lenhart. Among those owing notes; David Whipkey. Mansion tract, before mentioned, occupied by John Whipkey. Year 1829 Orphans court Henry Ash intermarried with Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Abraham Whipkey, late father died interstate leaving a widow named Mary and issue five children to wit: Elizabeth, wife of petitioner, John, George, Abraham and Polly, the last two named are in the minority.
