Ora Flanningan Christopher was baptised 17 February, 1733 at Christ Church, Philidelphia when he was seven days old. He is buried in the Jersey Churchyard near Ursina, Somerset Co., PA. = = = = = Following notes are from the Turkeyfoot, Somerset Co., website: Christopher and his brothers, Michael, Philip and possibly David, removed to York Co., PA. By 1785 he had moved to Bedford (now Somerset) County where he is taxed in Milford twp. On May 1791, his brother Philip conveyed to Christopher a 250 acre tract on Pound Lick Run, Milford Twp., Somerset Co. known as Kingstone. In 1793, Christopher erected a grist mill on a 159 acre tract situated on the North branch of the Laurel Hill Creek, Upper Turkeyfoot Twp. His father bequeathed to David the 159 acre tract on the North Fork of Laurel Hill Creek "on which my Mill stands and I reside and also my set of Smith tools to my son David King." David and Lydia are buried at Jersey Church Cemetery, Somerset Co., PA. His will was proved 3 July, 1851.
