1797-8 and in use until 1866. Who was John?
(p 424) Levi was the only child of Jacob & Mary and moved to Cumb Co
when 4 yrs old. Levi & Susanna had 5 sons & 4 daughters, 5 were living
in 1886. (p252) Levi started the first bank in Mechanicsburg in 1859
with Jacob Mumma and others. The write-up in the book indicates that
Levi was a well liked and successful man.
