Samuel MOHLER

                   Wed Hannah Louise Royer on 3-6-1860. She was the daughter of John
Royer and Sarah Keister.  Hannah was born in Union Co, PA 12-26-1841.
Hannah and Jacob had 3 kids.

                   Wed Mary Horst Risser and they had 8 kids.

Samuel is listed in the Brethren Encyclopedia, Vol. 2, p868. They moved
to Missouri in 1869 and helped organize the Mineral Creek church. They
moved in 1886 to Brown Co., Kansas where he helped establish McPherson
College.  He was active in California in the 1890's.  Wrote a phamhplet
THE RESURRECTION in 1901 and several hymns

Samuel is listed in the Brethren Encyclopedia, Vol. 2, p868
They moved in 1869 to Missouri where he helped organize the Mineral

In Franklin Co PA Court House Grantor Index, reference #42, p 391,   6
May 1867, Elizabeth Mohler, formerly Elizabeth Mikesell, now married to
Martin Mohler,  petitions to court, to end the guardianship of Jacob
Friedley.  This is strange since Don's book says she was born in Covington
Ohio and the married couple lived in a house on his father's farm until
moved to Missouri in 1881.  Why this petition filed in Franklin Co PA?
