Samuel is listed in the Brethren Encyclopedia, Vol. 2, p868. They moved
to Missouri in 1869 and helped organize the Mineral Creek church. They
moved in 1886 to Brown Co., Kansas where he helped establish McPherson
College.  He was active in California in the 1890's.  Wrote a phamhplet
THE RESURRECTION in 1901 and several hymns
