                   The 1900 Census of Somerset Co., PA shows that John was a brick worker
and Sarah was a housekeeper.  They had the following children: Aquilla
M. b. Apr 1879, 21 yrs; Austin Marcellus b. Feb 1882, 18 yrs; Harvey
L. b. Dec 1885, 14 yrs; Mary E. b. 1889, 10 yrs; James Elroy b. Feb
1895, age 5 yrs.  NOTE: not shown on census was a son Henry W. Lenhart
who was born in 1892 and died in  1893.

Death Certificate for John Charles Lenhart shows that he was a retiredbrick worker who died at 6:30 am on March 21, 1943.  It states he wasborn in Meyersdale, PA and died in Eldora, Washington Co., Carroll Twp.,PA and he was treated from Jan 12, 1940 - Mar 20, 1943 for ObstructiveHepatic Cirrhosis due to Chronic Cholengeitis.  His family doctor, andthe one who signed the death certificate, was Doctor W. Craig Byers fromWebster, PA. {Death Certificate info from Margaret Gonzalez}.

                   The 1900 census shows Clayton as being a coal miner and Elizabeth as
being a housewife.  The following were the children shown on this
census form: James W. b. March 1887, age 13; Mary b. March 1885, age
15; Amanda E. b. Nov 1889, age 10; John b. April 1891, age 9; Susan b.
July 1894, age 5; Sadie b. June 1896, age 3; and Emma b. April 1899,
age 1.

Obituary notice in the November 25, 1911 issue of the MeyersdaleRepublican
Newspaper:    -Clayton Lenhart -    Clayton Lenhart, a son of the lateMonroe
Lenhart, died Tuesday midnight at his home at Glade City near KeystoneJunction,
aged about 55 years.  He is survived by his wife, who was Miss ElizabethShultz
and about 10 children to  of whom are married.  Three brothers and twosisters -
Alex Lenhart and Marcellus Lenhart of Keystone Junction; John Lenhart ofMonessen,
PA; Mrs Port Hersh of Coal Run, and Mrs. David Bowman of Glade City.Deceased
was a member of the Church of the Brethren.  Funeral Service will be heldat his
late residence tomorrow (Friday) at 10:00 a.m.  Interment in UnionCemetery.
