John & Sue's 8th child was Barbara  Hess, 1770-1816, wed D. Martin

Menn Research Journal says Barbara was dau. Pre John Hess & Esther
Hershey.  According to Wenger, the dates for Rev. John are 1768-1830
and that Rev. John and Barbara are siblings.

Wenger: Susanna Landis was the dau of Fronica Groff (9th child of emig.
Hans Groff 1661-1746 and Susan Kendig) and Henry Landis (probably son
of emig. John Landis 1664-12-2-1727.  This is not "Ephrata John".
