Death:
10 Nov 1784
Weaverland, Pennsylvania
Burial:
Weaverland Mnt C
Marriage:
Abt 1730
Pennsylvania

Notes:
This David was the emigrant, he arrived Sept 30, 1727 on the ship MOLLY.
He had at least 8 children, Henry was the eighth.
See Menn. Research Journal April 1960.
m1. Barbara Herr, d. 8-6-1742
m2. Anna Groff, d. 1759
m3. Elizabeth Herr Miller, d. 1774
The article also says David's father, Andrew, emigrated in 1749 at age
70, and died 10 years later.
David, father Andrew, and three wives all buried in the first Weaverland
Mennonite Cemetery, on land provided by David Martin and Henry Weber.

According to Wenger bk, p1084, "Some genealogists have named Andrew
as the father of David, Hans Henry and Jacob. This now appears definitely
to be an error". Other siblings from Wenger bk Hans came in 1731 and
father Chris in 1732, Jacob came perhaps 1727. Wenger has info on Hans
line but not other two.

Barbara HERR
Birth:
1702
Manor, Pennsylvania
Death:
8 Aug 1742
Waverland, Pennsylvania
Mother:
Notes:
Wenger book, pg 1066 says Barbara is the 1st daughter (5th child) of
emig. Hans Herr 1639-1725 and Elizabeth Kendig 1644-1730, EK was the
dau. of emig. John Kendig & Jane Mylin.

Menn Research Journal, April 1960 says she is the daughter of Abraham
Herr and granddaughter of Hans Herr. Wenger lists Abraham's birth as
1700, so Barbara can't be his daughter.

Anna Strenk lists Barbara's birth as 1702, d/o Abraham Herr 1660-1725
& Anna Ells Baer, 1680-1749, d/o Heinrich Baer
