Notes:
Most of this info is from Heydt. She says it was Elizabeth Anna who married John Landis and that there was another daughter Anna Christina. I think Anna C wed Landis & Eliz wed George Coover Henry and Elizabeth bought land 4-23-1735 and continued buying and selling as late as 1-10-1763. In 1766 Henry alone bought land, had Elizabeth died. His will, made Aug. 22, 1769, probated Sept 22, 1769 names "beloved wife Barbara" and goes on to be concerned that she might not properly care for the kids, (they are not hers). He & Eliz in 1756 gave land to Jacob, and in 1763 to Henry, Jr. The will mentions "all my minor children" and names Martin, John, Elizabeth and Susanna. It leaves only 30 pounds each to Jacob and Henry, they got theirs earlier. Orphan's court record 1772-1776, book, p184, at dwelling of Henry Mohler, on 14 April 1774, John Landis and Henry Mohler, executors of the estate of Henry Mohler, Sr distribhted 106 pounds, 18 shillings and 1 and one half pence to each, Martin, John, Elizabeth and Susanna. Not clear was which Henry's house.
Notes:
Ludwig and family sailed on the Ship THISTLE, (Colin Dunlap, master) of Glasgow, from Rotterdam and landed in America Aug. 29, 1730. 77 Palatines, with their families, in all 260 persons. They declared their intention to settle, repeated and signed the Declaration in the minutes of 21st Sept. 1727 and took and subscribed to the Declaration of Fidelity and Abjuration. Colonial Records, Edition 1852, Vol. III, p 385. All this is written on the large Mohler family chart. PA Archives, Second Series, Vol. XV11, p 20-21. All folklore and family history has Ludwig as father of the Lancaster Mohlers, traditionally with children 1721 Jacob, 1728Henry and John or George. My thinking now is that his family was 1720 Anna Catherine wed John Landis,Jr; 1721Jacob, 1726 Ludwig,Jr, and1730George Adam. If he had a Henry it might have been the one born ca 1715 who wound up in Frederick MD. There was a 1715 Henry and he could not be s/oHenry, SR. Maybe he was a totally separate Mohler who emigrated through Baltimore and stayed in MD
