                   Harry served in WW II. Pa. PFC Co K 135 infantry.
     A Rockwood R.D.#2 man was fatally injured Thursday night while enroute home
from Seven Springs Ski Resort.
     Harry M. Cane, 46 was pronounced dead on arrival at 9:45 p.m. at the
Somerset Community Hospital.
     Coroner Robert H. Halverson said the victim died of a compound fracture of
the skull.
     Cane had gone to Seven Springs, where he is employed, with his brother,
Charles of Champion to pick up his son, Robert M. 19 who was skiing with some
friends.
     the group started for home in the victim's pickup truck. Robert was driving
the vehicle. Also riding inside the cab were Frank Pritts,67 Rockwood R.D. 2
(Mr. Cane's father-in-law) and Lane Showman, 18 Rockwood R.D.2 Mr Cane and his
brother Charles were reding in the back of the truck when Mr. Cane fell
backwards and struck his head.
