Greetings--Our Stull family file at the Meyersdale Public Library genealogy
room contains two pieces of paper. One is the following obit for Mrs.
Elizabeth Stull:
"Oldest Woman in Somerset County Dies"
"Mrs. Elizabeth Stull, aged 99, believed to have been the oldest resident of
Somerset County, died last Friday afternoon in the Somerset County Hospital,
following an illness of several months of diseases incident to old age. She
would have been 100 years old on October 20 next.

"Her husband, John Stull, passed away 70 years ago at his home in
Shanksville, following a brief illness of blood poisoning, which was caused
by an infection of the hand, resulting from an injury while he was shoeing a
horse.

"Mrs. Stull made her home in the vicinity of Shanksville until seven years
ago, when she went to Somerset to live. Despite her age she possessed a keen
mind and was able to be about until the last few weeks.

"Surviving are a son, Edmund Stull, aged 82, of Shanksville; a sister, Mrs.
William Carver, of Roxbur; and a nephew, Jesse Stull, living near Shanksville.

"Her body was prepared for burial by J. N. Johnson & Son, of Berlin, and was
removed to the home of her nephew, where funeral services were conducted
Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by interment in the Stull Cemetery,
near Roxbury."
Meyersdale Republican, 27 April 1933

The other sheet is a family chart diagramming Adam Stull>George Stull>William
Stull>Ananias Stull (b. 28 Mar 1855 d. 1920)>Nevin E. Stull (b. 19 Feb. 1899
d. 18 Oct. 1918 of flu in the army)>Nevin Harold Stull. The family of Alice
Landis, wife of Ananias, is also entered in the chart. Some names have birth
and death dates, and issue, provided but no documentation of sources. I will
be happy to provide the rest of the information to anyone interested in this
line.
