Obit for his foster mother stated that he had been raised by them since
early childhood. Mrs. Florine Krug Carney in a letter dated May 21, 1988
stated that he was never legally adopted by the Pattersons but used the
Patterson name through out his life. Both he and his wife Sylvia are dead.
