He was a retired farmer and school bus driver. Survivors: his wife, the former Geraldine Ryker; a daughter, Mary Ellen Croxton of Hanover; two sons, Gerald W. and Carl Imel; a sister, Mary Carlow; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
