                   "Delbert Guy Hawk, 97, of Lewiston died of causes related to age Sunday evening at his son's home at Lewiston.  Hawk married Lottie Mae Keith July 26, 1915, at Fairbury, Neb.  She died May 8, 1986.  The couple lived at Hutchinson, Kan. before coming to Idaho in 1917.  They lived in southern Idaho until 1934, when they moved to Winchester. Hawk was a school teacher in Kansas and also was a paint contractor for the Associated Service Stations during World War II.  He was a carpenter and painted and remodeled homes at Lewiston.  He was also night watchman for Erb's Hardware for six years.  The son of Andrew and Olive R. Miller, he was born Jan. 12, 1890, at Brewster, Kan. where he attended school.  Hawk was a member of the United Pentecostal Church at Lewiston.  He enjoyed gardening.  Survivors include six sons, Merlin M. Hawk of Harlowton, Mont., Ala L. (Fuzzy) Hawk of Puyallup, Wash., Kenneth D. Hawk of Eagle, and Derrel G. Hawk, Delbert L. Hawk and David O. Hawk, all of Lewiston; a daughter, Olive O. Hammond of Winchester; a brother, Narval B. Hawk of Lewiston; 41 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren.  Hawk was preceded in death by six sons, Wilbur, Keith, Charlie, Valworth, James and Joseph.  The funeral was held Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Mountain View Funeral Home, with the Rev. Peter Shebley of the United Pentecostal Church at Lewiston officiating.  Burial followed at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens at Lewiston.  The family suggests memorials may be given to the Idaho Heart Association, 710 Preston Ave., Lewiston."

                   "Lottie Mae Keith Hawk of Lewiston, a registered nurse and homemaker, died May 8 at the home of her daughter at Winchester.  She was 87, and death was attributed to causes related to age.  Mrs. Hawk had worked in the Lewiston area as a nurse for several years.  She was born July 7, 1898, to John and Josephine Keith at Fort Dodge, Kan.  She married Delbert Guy Hawk at Fairbury, Neb., July 26, 1915, and they moved to American Falls in southern Idaho in 1917.  They came to northern Idaho in 1934.  Mrs. Hawk enjoyed knitting and crocheting and once produced 60 afghans in 10 years.  She also kept a garden and crocheted tablecloths.  She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and had attended school at Fort Dodge.  She had also taken correspondence courses from the American Nursing School.  Mrs. Hawk is survived by her husband at Lewiston; six sons Derrel G., Alva L. (Fuzzy), Delbert L. and David O., all of Lewiston; Merling M. of Harlowton, Mont., and Kenneth D. of Eagle, Idaho; one daughter, Olive O. Hammond of Winchester; 41 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by six sons: Wilbur, Joseph, James, Keith, Charlie and Valworth.  The funeral was held Monday at 2 p.m. at Mountain View Funeral Home at Lewiston with the Rev. Peter Shebley of the United Pentecostal Church at Lewiston and the Rev. Monte M. Hawk of the United Pentecostal Church of Green River, Wyo., officiating.  Burial followed at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens.  The family suggest memorials to the Idaho Heart Association, 710 Preston, Lewiston 83501."
