"Peter M. Moler, age 79, passed away at the family home, 814 Irving Street, Thursday, July 17. Mr. Moler had resided in tis community for the past eleven years and was a retired farmer. Deceased was a member of the Church of Nazarene and leaves to survive five sons, Clarence L., John V. and Myron C., all of Garden City, Kansas, Millard, of Meade, Kan., and Louis I., of Blaine; five daughters, Mrs. L.H. Wheeler, Mrs. A. A. Gowens and Miss Gladys Moler, all of Bellingham, Mrs. J.C. Bruce, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Mrs. A.C. Morgan, of St. Paul, Minn.; thirty-five grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Tillie Pritchett, of Springfield, Colo. The remains are at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. D.B. Kunkle, Monday, July 21, at 3 p.m. Final resting place, Bay View."
"Katherine V. Moler, age 78 years, passed away at a local hospital Wednesday, September 26, following a four-day illness. Mrs. Moler came to Bellingham ten years ago and was a member of the Church of the Nazarine. She is survived by her husband, Peter M. Moler; five daughters, Miss Gladys A.L. Moler and Mrs. Alvin A. Gowens, this city; Mrs. J.C. Bruce, Cedar Rapids, Ia., Mrs. L.H. Wheeler, Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. A.C. Morgan, Mitchell, South Dakota; five sons, Clarence L., John V., and Myron C.E. of Garden City, Kan., Louis I., of Blaine, Wash., and Millard P., Meade, Kan,; thirty-two grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. The remains rest at the funera home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by Revs. Harold L. Lewis and D.B. Kunkle, Tuesday, October 2, at 1:30 p.m. Final resting place, Bay View cemetery."
"Charles S. Moler was born in Ford county on January 24, 1887, and died at his home here September 19, 1910, age 23 years, 7 months and 19 days. Deceased was a son of Peter and Kate Molar, and was one of a family of five girls and five boys. He was a Christian young man and lived a life beyond reproach. Everyone was his friend and are grieved at his untimely departure from this life. Funeral services were held from the Methodist church, Rev. R.C. Runion conducting the services and preaching the sermon Tuesday afternoon. He was layed to rest in Spearville cemetery. A large crowd of mourners and sympathizers followed the remains to their last resting place. We extend our sincere sympathy."

She was married to John C Bruce April 15, 1913 at Dodge City Kan. She had lived in Cedar Rapids 58 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Elmer M Bruce, Cedar Rapids, a daughter, Alice Jackson, Kansas City, Mo; four sisters, Florence Wheeler, Sumner, Wash; Gladys Moler, Indianapolis, Ind; Martha Gowens, Los Angeles and Opal Morgan, Indianapolis. Five brothers, Millard Moler, Meade, Kan; Louis Moler, Blaine, Wash; Clarence, John and Myron Moler, all of Garden City, Kan. Four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services 10:30 am Wed at the Chapel of Memories by the Rev Reuben J Tjaden. Burial Cedar Memorial cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home after noon Tuesday and at the chapel after 9 a.m. Weds. The casket will not be opened after the service."
"Florence R. Wheeler, a 94 year-old resident of Sumner, died Tuesday of last week in Tacoma. Mrs. Wheeler was born on New Year's Day of 1891 in Elk City, Kan. She was a member of the Sumner Assembly of God Church. She is survived by a son, Charles of Tacoma, and three daughters, Beatrice Kramer of Forney, Tex, Winnifred Holmes of Anchorage, and Anna Brown of Dallas. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the Sumner Voiles Funeral Home Chapel in Sumner. Burial followed at Sumner Cemetery."
"Sammy Mohler, the 11-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mohler, who was injured by falling under a plow last week on Monday, died on last Friday from blood poison. The boy was plowing with four horses and a gang plow when a storm came up and the thunder scared the team causing them to jump and threw him in front of the plow running the point into his leg making an awful wound. Every effort possible was made to save his life but blood poison set in resulting in his death. The funeral was held on Sunday, Rev. Harvey officiating. The interment was in the Spearville cemetery."
"Millard P. Moler, 85, died December 27, 1983 at the Meade District Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1898 at Wright, KS to Peter M. and Katherine (Krejci) Moler, the 6th of 12 children and married Elfa M. Thompson on October 12, 1924. She preceded him in death July 28, 1968. To this union were born 4 dughters: Esther, Faye, Phyllis, and Louise. Two daughters, Phyllis and Louise perished in a snow storm in 1948. Early in his life, Millard helped his father in farming. He loved to tell about breaking horses. He moved with his parents to Meade in 1920. At that time he was converted in a tent meeting, professing his faith in god. With parents and brothers and sisters, he was instrumental in the organization of the Meade Church of the Nazarene in April of 1924. He helped in church where he was needed - as song leader, church treasurer, Sunday School teacher and board member for many years. He was always faithful to church, bringing his family to all services. Millard was a diligent employee of the Cudahy Packing Co. at their silica mining plant north of Meade for over 25 years before becoming interested in farming. At the time of his retirement he was an employee of the City of Meade. It was a joy for him to keep the Meade City Park beautiful for the residents of Meade and those passing through. Millard was a hard worker and loved to befriend those around him in need. During his last years, Millard was forced to live quietly due to poor health and much time was spent in reading. He thoroughly enjoyed reading about early American history. He lived little children and often challenged his grandchildren to a game of checkers. During this Christmas season, he played several games with two of his granddaughters. As a family it was our privilege to enjoy one last meal together around the table just hours before his death. Survivors: Daughters, Esther M. Cheney and Faye I. Pohl of Meade, KS. Five grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Sisters: Florence R. Wheeler, Dallas, TX; Gladys A. Moler and Opal K. Morgan of Indianapolis, IN; Martha Gowens, Fontana, CA. Brother, John V., Garden City. also a host of nieces and nephews."
"Louis Isaac Moler, 74, died Friday at his home in Blaine. Surviving are the wife, Lola; four sons, Charles, John and Richard of Blaine and Louis of Eugene, Ore.; six daughters, Mrs. Everette Sawyer, Miss Viola Moler and Mrs. Eldon Hicks, all of Ferndale, Mrs. Albert Sweeney in New Jersey, Mrs. Ron Rogers of Los Angeles and Mrs. DeWitt Hendricksen of Salt Lake City, and 30 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The Rev. Hartley Christenson will conduct services at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunrise Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park under the direction of Gillies Funeral Home."
"Gladys A. Moler, age 93, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away in that city Sunday, August 13, 1995. A former Whatcom County resident, Miss Moler retired in 1965 from a dry cleaning business in Valparaiso, Indiana; member of Castleton Church of the Nazarene; preceded in death by her sister, Opal K. Morgan, with whom she resided for the past 44 years. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Private burial will be in Bayview Cemetery. Services by Jones-Moles Funeral Home." Gladys Alice LaVon Moler, 93, Indianapolis, died Sunday. She was a drycleaning presser for 8 years in Valparaiso, retiring in 1965. Memorial contributions may be made to Castleton Church of the Nazarene, of which she was a member and secretary. A memorial service will be at 7 pm Thursday in the church; there will be no calling. Burial will be in Bayview Cemetery. Bellingham, Washington. Survivors: several nieces and nephews . Flanner & Buchana Broad Ripple Mortuary is handling the arrangements."
"Myron Clifford Estel Moler, 58, 1612 George, died at St. Catherine Hospital Sunday morning after a long illness. Born March 16, 1913, at Kingsdown, he married Christabell Owens July 10, 1932, Lakin. He was chief maintenance operator for Wheatland Electric for the past 38 years and had lived in Garden City for 44 years. Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Hankins, Sublette; three sons, Samuel and Jack, both Sublette, and Larry, Minneapolis, Minn.; four brothers, Clarence, 1903 'C'; Millard, Meade; Louis, Blaine, Wash.; and John, Eminence Rt.; four sisters, Mrs. Florence Wheeler Sumner, Wash.; Mrs. Martha Gowens, Northridge, Calif.; and Mrs. Opal Morgan and Gladys Moler, both Indianapolis, Ind.; and 12 grandchildren. His parents, two brothers, a sister and two children preceded him in death. Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Phillips-White Funeral Home, the Revs. William H. Travis and Henry B. Bondurant officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery. Friends may call this evening and until service time at the funeral home. A memorial has been established with the St. Catherine Hospital Radiation Therapy Center in care of the hospital or the funeral home."
