William died at the Kith Haven Nursing Home at age 80.  He is buried in Suset Hills Cemetery, Flushing, Michigan.  He lived in Flint for 61 years.  He was employed at Buick a division of General Motor for 42 years.  Whe was a member of the West Court Street Church of God, Flint, Michigan.  He became a ordained minister in 1950.  He had been actually preaching for over 50 years when he died.

Fay Irene Boze was very sick from cancer of the liver.  She went to Garnet Louise Bearup (Strom) in November 1997 and was treated for cancer at the Stanford Medical Center.  She was on chemo therapy treatments about every two weeks.  She became a hospice patient about two weeks before her death.  She was very lucid until about two days before her death.  She had lost about 100 pounds in weight the last two years of her life.  She was about 100 pounds when she died.  Mother was a very caring person.  She loved God with all her heart.  She kept her faith up to the end.  She passed into death very quietly with her family in the room.  Present was Carrol June Bearup (Martin), Garnet, and Richard Martin and an attendent installing an air mattress.
