He was born Abt. 1773 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and died Abt. 1868.

He married (1) Sarah Coultrap December 17, 1811 in Jefferson County, Ohio, daughter of William Coultrap and Mary Woods.  She was born Abt. 1789 in Virginia, and died August 16, 1841 in Delaware County, Ohio.  He married (2) Mary McElvain February 04, 1842 in Delaware County, Ohio.  She was born Abt. 1785 in New York.

Know all men by these presents the I George McGee of Moorefield, Harrison County, Ohio do make and publish this my last Will and Testament.

Item 1  It is my will that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my personal estate, the balance of my personal estate (should there be any) except my household and kitchen furniture to be divided equally between my heirs as follows to wit:  Rosanna Todd, Julianne McGee, Jonathan McGee, Hugh M. McGee, all heirs of my daughter Elizabeth, and the heirs of my son William.

Item 2  I give and bequeath to my daughter Eliza Jane Sankey, my homestead farm, situated in the county and state afores aid of being north west quarter of section twenty nine, in township ten (10) of range six (6) in the Steubenville Land District.

Item 3  I give and devise to my daughter Julianne, the house and lot in the town of Mooredield in said county and state known and designated on the plat of said as lot number seven (7).

Item 4  I give and devise to my son Thomas, a certain tract or parsel of land containing 2 acers, 1 rod and 19 perches, said lot situated near Moorefield in said county and state and was conveyed to me by Thomas S. McGee and wife by deed bearing date May 1st A.D. 1860 in consideration of which my said son Thomas is to pay my said heirs here in before mentioned, the sum of two hundred and thirty six dollars ($236).

Item 5  I give and bequeath to my daughter Julianne all my household and kitchen furniture of which I may die siezed.

Item 6  I give and devise to each of my sons Thomas ans Alexander the sum of one dollar, they each having received their full share of my estate and receipted to me for the same.

Item 7  I do here by appoint my son Thomas S. McGee and Samuel F. Sankey executors of this my last will and testament.

Notes for William Love:
            William was a farmer. He first settled in Harrison County, Ohio. He then purchased a farm four miles south of Bellaire, Belmont county, Ohio, where he
lived twenty five years or more.  William sold his farm and moved to Mt Ephraim Noble county, Ohio and bought another farm. Again he sold his farm
and moved  to Carrollton, Washington County, Ohio , where he bought 320 Acers.
