                   In the 1870 census, Andrew was listed as a farmer with a real estate value of 4000 and a personal estate value of 1500. This was a large amount for a family of this day.

On Andrew's marriage registration at the Somerset County Courthouse of Sept 7, 1854. his occupation is listed as tanner. The last name is also spelled CREMER, instead of CRAMER.

Miriam HOLLADA, remembers her great, grandmother Catherine (AUGUSTINE)CRAMER. She remembers the long, long dresses she used to wear at a time when others were wearing shorter dresses. She also recalls that she was very forgetful in her later years, possibly signs of dementia. She recalls her looking all over the place one time for her glasses and then would find them on top of her head. There were frequent similar incidents.

This reference gives Catherine Augustine Cramer's ancestry and her children's birthdates, spouses names and birth & death dates of the spouse. It also mentions that three of the children died young of scarlet fever.
