Leroy Charles Forrest, 64, Rt 2, died Wednesday at the Washington County
Myersville, and the late Annie Palmer Forrest. He was a retired employee
of the M>J> Grove Lime Co. He was a member of the St. John's Lutheran
Church near Myersville. Besides his father, he is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Helen V. Trumpower Forrest, one daughter, Mrs. Mary J. Cline of
Middletown, two sons, James L. Forrest of Wolfsville, and Kenneth W.
Forrest of Myersville, one sister, Mrs. Eva Nudau of Baltimore, 10
grandchildern and one great-grandchild. Services will be held Saturday at
2 p.m. from the Bittle Funeral Home in Myersville. The Rev. William Brown
will officate. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery near
Myersville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this
evening from 7 to 9.

Helen V. Forrest, 74, of 3632 Brethren Church Road, died Thursday, Aug.
30, at the Washington County Hospital.  Born in Clear Spring, she was the
daughter of the late David and Grace Slayman Trumpower.  Her husband,
Leroy Charles Forrest, died in 1977.  She was a member of St. Paul's
Lutheran Church in Myersville.  She is survived by one daughter, Mary
Jane Cline of Baltimore, Md.; two sons, James Forrest, with whom she
resided, and Kenneth Forrest; two sisters, Jane Brewer of Clear Spring,
and Doris Karle of Halfway, Pa.; two brothers, Harold Trumpower of
Hancock and Wilbur Trumpower of Maugansville; 10 grandchildren; and seven
great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl
Trumpower and Ernest Trumpower.  Services will be held at 11 a.m.
Saturday at the Ricketts Funeral Home in Myersville.  The Rev. David
Howell will officiate.  Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery on
Church Hill Road in Myersville.  The family will receive friends at the
funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
