Uncle "Doc":  This gentleman was a general practioner and surgeon.  He,due to the financial status of the Wm. H. Forester family often took careof us.  He removed my (W. C. Forester) appendix in 1956.  I remember himquite well.  He was a short, bald,and round.  He wore thick glasses.  Ialways envied their amount of money a little.  My quote to grandma Allenand mom one day was, "When I grow up, I'm going to carry a brief case anddrive a white Cadillac like Uncle Doc"
